I went for a memorable walk through central park with my genius photographer friend Daniel Peterson. To view the other pictures please click here.

I was sitting in cake shop eating a vegan cupcake on my last day visiting new york back in October. Daniel texted me and asked if I wanted to meet in the park and take photos. I took the F train over to 57th from Delancey. I met them at the main entrance to the park. Daniel had a friend with him that was visiting from Portland, which is where daniel is originally from. We walked through the park for about half an hour. It was such a sweet early evening, the sun was magical. After the shoot I had to pick up my roll of super 8 film I dropped off the day before in the East Village. So the boys and I hopped in a cab. Heading downtown, the cab driver drove us right through Times Square in rush hour. Past the Empire State building dropping us off right outside of PACLAB. We then ended up doing some vinatge shopping and then went for dinner somewhere in Soho. After we had a few drinks in us we spontaneously decided to catch the Stanton Island ferry over by Wall Street. What a trip! It was a full moon and the best part was, it was free. Nothing in new york is free. We arrived in Stanton Island. We ended up taking our sweet time and missed the next ferry. So we went for a walk outside the terminal. We stumbled upon the local pub. I had a pint and a half of Blue Moon beer and chatted with the locals at the bar. We then caught the next ferry back to Manhattan and I grabbed a cab back to Brooklyn. I love New York. My flight home was at 7am at JFK. My cab was scheduled to pick me up at 4.30am.

Check out Daniel’s work and hire this kid! He resides somewhere in New York. Last I heard he was working at The Knitting Factory.

I hope you are doing well my friend. You deserve the stars.
