Here is a look at where I sleep, the dirt roads I’ve traveled and 5 of my favorite things right now…

FOR ARTS SAKE !
I’ve had the privilege to work as an assistant with CREATMOSPHERE (light artists from London) over the past 3 weeks. I couldn’t have landed a more perfect Summer Job! They are awesome. Not only did I learn so much but I also gained 3 amigos in the end.
We installed 28 data spheres in the lagoon at Princes Island Park. We also launched 500 illuminated spheres down the Bow River. It was exhausting yet challenging, the weather definitely was not on our side during installation. You can learn more about the project on their River Of Light blog. It truly is one of the best Public Art displays Calgary will ever see!

This is nothing in comparison to what the original plans for “The Paris of The Prairies” were, circa 1912… this would have been what we know now as Princes Island Park.
